WordPress Form monitoring
Where did the enquiry go?
Which WordPress form check helps an agency investigate a missing enquiry?
A visitor sees a thank-you message. The client says the enquiry never reached the sales team. Before choosing a monitor, ask where your agency last saw the enquiry and which inbox the client expected to receive it.
| If your question is… | What the provider documents | What to verify on a form you own |
|---|---|---|
| Is the live form still accepting submissions after a site update? | WP Remote tests a supported form every 12 or 24 hours and around safe updates. It suppresses the notification for the test and sets aside the spam filter or CAPTCHA. WP Remote | Does a normal visitor on the live site get past the spam controls? A separate test is necessary if delivery to a mailbox matters. |
| Have real enquiries stopped, or is the form reporting failures? | FormBeacon records events from the installed plugin. For Gravity Forms, success means it saved an entry. For Contact Form 7, success means it reported sending mail. Its health check is scheduled daily through WordPress cron. Actual timing depends on site traffic or a separately configured scheduler. FormBeacon · WordPress cron | Set the inactivity window to match the site's usual enquiry volume. To investigate a missing enquiry, trace the corresponding message to its intended recipient. |
| Can a scheduled browser test submit the form and produce an email? | On supported forms, FormStatus redirects the test notification to its monitoring inbox. CheckView also sends a test through the site's mailer and looks for it in CheckView's inbox. FormStatus · CheckView | Check which CRM or webhook actions a test might trigger on your setup. If the question concerns the client's sales inbox, test that address separately. |
